i have recently had a biosproblem with my acer aspire 5102WLMi i reinstalled windows onto my computer but not having the recovery disks, i put vista on there. i just found the recovery disks and tried to install erecovery to restore form the backups, but when i click the exe it says it can't install because of an old NAPP version, is there any way around this or to fix it?

try reformatting the drives to fat32 and see if that helps. As far as i know any eRecovery for XP will only work on fat32
