    hi guys,

    I bought a Acer laptop with following specification about a week ago;

    Acer travelmate 5720G
    Intel T8100 2,1 Ghz,
    2 GB Ram,
    Ati Mobility hd 2600 512Mb

    the problem with this laptop is that, the fan is running constantly, when it is plugged in to ordinary electric. I do not have any problem, when it is running on the battery.

    I have installed XP, so i have also the same problem in Vista and Linux. It is kind of strange. I did not have this problem in the first 2 - 3 days. I hope someone, could help me. By the way the Bios is version completely new, v.1.32, i.e. it does not need update.
