    ferrari 3200 V.S. ferrari 3400

    I am at a lost. I can purchase the ferrari 3200 for $100 cheaper then a reconditioned ferrari 3400. Looking at the specs I cant see any difference between the two. Can anyone help me out? Thak You in advance.

    The Ferrari 3200 has an AMD Athlon 2800+, where the Ferrari 3400 has the AMD 3000+, which is a bit faster.

    Those two models are previous-generation, I recommend getting a newer laptop. Consider posting a "What should I buy?" thread in the Hardware forum. Be sure to complete the FAQ (link is in my signature). ;)

    Doubt you'd notice a differnce in the CPUs. Upgrading the hard drive will give a big perfromance boost.
