oh ok. make sure of the following:

    1. ur battery is full or charging through AC
    2. all of ur components are in place and nothing is loose, but if u didnt touch anything u can skip this step.
    3. what happened before this?
    4. ever have any overheating problems?
    5. how old is this computer?
    6. did u contact acer?

HDD light is constantly on !
can you hear the HDD running ?
    does the fan start ?
have you tried Alt+F10 ? (factory reset)

sounds like HDD has gone to meet the maker, in the great HDD heaven :(

    just a thought

Any updates on this?? I'm having the same issue... Screen dead, power comes on, hard drive spins up, bluetooth lights up, but does not post or anything! Just stays like that..

Also out of warranty. Ripping apart laptop to look for a bad component. So far seeing nothing burned out. :-(

    Any ideas?

    hmmmmm

could be bad lcd modules. or motherboard. im leaning towards something monitor related. have a monitor you can plug into it and try?
