hi guys, I'm wanting to downgrade my Aspire5920 to XP. As a newbie to laptops & Acer, I'm not sure which drivers I will need for this task.
I have downloaded all the driver packages for my laptop from the Acer FTP site, but not sure how many of these packages I will have to install in XP.
Any help/tips, would be really helpful indeed.

First of all, back-up the PQSERVICE partition. With Acronis True Image, for example. Than make the recovery dvd's and then, start wiping things on the notebook. It's imperative to do that, to save yourself for trouble in the future (i've deleted mine accidentally and I'm still looking for someone nice to provide me a copy of PQSERVICE for my type of notebook).
