Gears of War worked great on mine at the default settings (running 256MB DDR2 8600M GT)

9500M GS is 8600M GT's successor, so it should run most new games, though not at max settings.

Oh yeah, and the codes probably go like GTX > GT > No Code (N.A.; Vanilla; maybe Stock) > GS :D
    [For the particular model]

The mobile version of the 9500 has only the GS version available, and since it is the best card you can fit in your notebook at the moment, you'll just have to find the component that is bottlenecking the performance, and upgrade it. 9500M GS is a decent GPU and provides performance figures just a tad higher than the 8600M GT.

    T7500..??
    Its good enough for gaming.
You could upgrade to a T9300 or similar.
Try upgrading the ram to 4GB, the OS to 64-bit and a fast 7200RPM HDD, though these upgrades will only provide a small fps increase in games and better loading times.

I bet upgrading to a HDD like this would halve loading times of games.

You will want to get the latest video drivers from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com . The drivers that come with the laptop are quite poor for gaming. Downloading and installing drivers from the aforementioned website will provide you with a good gaming experience with the vast majority of games on the market today. Particularly since the maximum resolution that you will be playing at is 1280x800.

Yeah, but in particular the 9500M GS seems quite powerful. There may be a bigger difference between 9 and 8 than 8 and 7(small).

I dunno, I have seen guys posting benchmarks in the Dell and Gaming forum, showing that the 9500M GS and 8700M GT have almost similar capabilities when it comes to graphics. The 9500M GS is said to be a kinda shrinked 8600M GT, consuming less power.

@Santa_Claus: Just imagine what would this to do to a game's loading times :D
