    help Acer 5315-2713 shutoff now screen bottom is white

    my computer crash after installing a program. I turn it back on and the bottom of the screen is white. I took out hard drive same issue.

    I left the computer off for a while and then restarted all was normal again but after it failed to load windows Vista screen messed up again. I had a bsod but was unable to read it when off as soon as it came on.

    any ideas?

    :Update: Took hard drive out hooked it to desktop and got this message Immediately back up your data and
    replace your hard drive. A failure is imminent.

    So That is great so maybe laptop is ok after all.
