    help needed acer empowerment technology missing

    i have an acer travelmate 2420
    ive been unable to access the internet via 3g..kept getting a runtime error when i tried to open the program
    then i realised that my empowerment technology is missing
    when i try to launch it..system is unable to locate it
    ive scanned for viruses but nothing was found
    i dont have any recovery discs
    ive looked on the acer website but dont see any downloads for empowerment technology itself
    wot do i do next?
