    help with my acer 8920g

    I have an 8920g and the volume control on the cinetouch does not work the sound comes out of the speakers and you can control the volume in wmp but not on the touch pad. All the drivers are up to date and are working fine, all the other controls on the pad work fine as well. Please help me lol this is driving me nuts lol thanks for your help in advance

    Hi. I have the same laptop, and the volume control stopped working when I disabled some Acer startup program. Go to Run, MSCONFIG, Startup, and see if there are startup programs unchecked. There you may find the problem.
