    Hi all i bought new battery for laptop acer aspire 7740.battery not detected....from company they told me i need calibrate battery in bios option-power option,problem is i dont have this option(power management) i need update latest bios version,i downloaded 1.16 last one.i unziped but there is a lot files 4 folders and 4 more app...i downloaded unetbootin i made bootable usb key,after start its all ok unetbootin start perfect ,i use option 5,after that i just need change letter from A: to B: or C :..............nothing hapenned :eek:( just in leter B: isee- take out diskete from A place to B...............any help????
    what files from unziped bios i need put to USB key ????

    This BIOS option does not exist so you may ignore the whole BIOS update procedure.
    If you want to do this- use 1.27 BIOS which is the most recent one (not 1.16).

    If I'm not mistaken 7740 uses Phoenix BIOS- see here for details on flashing.

    one more help please ...what files put to bootable disc? mean from downloaded extracted bios files?

    nothing work i dont know what files(from bios folder) put to bootable usb
