    hey,

i have an acer aspire 9114wlmi. ok...the problem....when i use my line out for my speakers it does not work(no sound comes out). however, when i hook my mp3 player to the line in, and connect my speaker to the line out the 3,5mm jack works. would this be a software problem...or potentially hardware? for some reason on the realtek HD audio manager it says i have a "realtek HD audio output" and "realtek HD audio output 2nd output" which i never noticed before!! and when i go on bass managment it shows a 7:1 setup rather than the 2 speakers it used to. on the audio I/O tab, i have selected 2 channel speakers but this has no effect. any ideass on what the problem is?? :(
