    high temperature problem after bios update.

    i was thinking update bios to solve usb 2.0 problem.i have upgraded my aspire's (5105) bios to v3.10 a but its didn't solve any problem.just added a huge problem.my pc overheating anymore.

    i want to my old bios back but how to?
    there is no any new or old bios version on acer's support page.
    i've already upgrade bios using a win xp compatible bios but my os is win vista.that is it matter?
    and where can i found old bios version?

    Acer euro has on their FTP the previous BIOS for the 5100 series direct link here.

    However it looks like you won't be able to get back the 3.09 version as acer only have the 3.05 version before the 3.10. I have been running the latest BIOS (3.10) for months now and have never had any overheating problems or any increase in temperature caused by updating from the previous version.

    Note the operating system doesn't matter to the BIOS (window XP or Vista) so that is nothing to worry about.

    i downloaded but file was broke.(v3.5)
    and you know there are too many diffirent 5100 model.maybe your pc doesn't get any overheating problem but mine have it.

    (english is not my native language, i hope you can understand)
