    how do i use nvidia device setting to overclock?

    i do apply the settings but when i close and open again the settings windows its on factory settings again. i have aspire 6920g with 9500m gs card

    You should download nVidia Inspector which is a useful tool for overclocking. It allows you to send a shortcut to your desktop of the current settings, copy that to your Startup folder. Voila!
    Next time you restart the settings are applied and each time thereafter.

    It worked for me but of course your system could be different because of different hardware? See my sig for my spec.

    If I were you, I would use a program like rivatuner to overclock and find your max overclock. Then use NiBiTor to retrieve your bios and enter your preferred overclock. After that, save it and flash your overclocked bios to your card with nvflash.
