ive been looking for a small portable laptop and was debating between envy 14 or acer timelinex 4820tg. i considered 3820t also, but decided not since it only had integrated graphics. however, ive seen people in this forum with the 3820t that had radeon hd 5650. how is that possible? is the graphic card the difference between 3820t and 3820tg? if so, where can you find the 3820tg? i can only find 3820t. and i live in U.S.

You can't find it in the US. Those of us who have them (there are only a handfull of us so far) imported them. Mine came from Germany. On the first page to the 3820TG thread is a link to my writeup of converting a german unit. There is no easy solution yet.

$850 plus $75 shipping from Germany. $28 for a new Keyboard and $6 for a new power cord. I put an SSD in it but that would have been the same no matter what.

do you think its worth canceling my order of envy 14 for this laptop? i really like the size and portability of it.

also, do you know if they have it in south korea? if so, i can ask my family there to send it to me.

I don't think you can order the 3820TG from Germany anymore.
