Just buy a can of air duster, unless you want to take out the entire heatsink/fan assembly.

are you sure this will remove all the dust? i dont want to take it out just clean it... but is that enough to clean it? i need remove all the dust, im overclocking it as hell and i need to have all the airflow i need. i have overclocked the 8600M GS that have 650/420 clocks and default 450/400. i also have a cheap cooling pad. i get 80 degrees max when playing call of duty 4....

one more question... what is the best core - to -memory ratio? i think i have pretty much core but very less memory :p

EDIT: Its 500 memory not 420

Do you realize that the Nvidia 8600m is one of the models that has a solder fault and thermal cycles is what kills it, so you take a big change by overclocking it.

Some manufactures offer a 2 year warranty on the 8600m and 8400m faulty gpu problem.

So i would not overclock it, some people actualy underclock to make it live longer.

If you still want to remove the heat-sink, you have to do this - there are 4 screws in the battery compartment (excluding the ones on the heat-sink itself), 3 in a line from the outer side and one near the CPU's heat-sink, unscrew it. Then lift the battery compartment in order to make enough room and then lift and pull the heat-sink. That's it :D And that's the easy way, the hard one is to disassemble half of the laptop :D
