    how to preserve battery life?

    hey guys,

    im getting my acer 5562wxmi tomorrow morning and i want to be
    ready to treat my new baby well :)

    are there some basic rules on preserving battery life?

    Wi-fi off...if there's a power management setting (for controlling proc speeds based on what you're actually doing) turn it on...also keeping the screen relatively dim (but usable of course) will help as well.

    thanks guys but i meant something more hardware-related, extending
    battery life in general and not for a certain usage...

    should i always use up all the battery until it reaches somewhere between 0%-10% left of battery and only then charge it to its fullest?
    or should i always connect it to a power source even if i have 60% battery life?
