just looking for a way to do it since any AC adapters are not working with my laptop..... ive changed the proccesor to a x7900 AC worked but it was too much for the laptop( overheated rapidly ) so i bought an t9300 and the problem now is back like with the t5550 so i give up! give up with the laptop and my last resort is updating the bios to see if something happens...... just looking for a solution for this since my laptop only works with a battery :(. i dont even care if it shuts down updating, having a laptop work with only with battery is very useless.

I had same problem. I update BIOS by uninstall "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" from Device Manager->Batteries. Be careful don't uninstall any other things.
