I am planning to buy the ACER laptop from this website. The prices are cheaper than anywhere else I could find.

Any experience with their service and how much time do they take to deliver ?

    Regards
    V Mittal

They are OK but not outstanding.

Next day delivery, in my experience, is next day from shipping, not next day from ordering.

This is only my initial review. I'm preparing a full story against the way of business that fake company does.

not trustful, deceitful, without customer service, rude service, delaying, fake prices and/or description, no real feedback, no interest in the customer after payment, messing in all areas of service, terrible technical service, no organization in documents and leading off issues, contradicting information on website and verbal by service people, etc, etc.

Customer Service consists of children that play with you, be aware!
You ALWAYS have to try to contact them - they only call to you if they want your money and they have a problem to get them.
    - when ringing, you are always in a long queue. Then they transfer you several times to another person and you have to describe the problem again & again - for they have no record or have a wrong record of your issue.
    - to get somebody you have to hold the line ~10min – today I spent 18min without any god result!
    - I spent about 3 hours in 2 weeks so far - only holding the line.
    - They never answer to your e-mails, or proudly advertised eMessages - you can send onto as many addresses you can get but don't expect that you'll get personal ones or even to Customer Service in general
    - I sent ~10 e-mails and as much eMessages so far – no one answered)

Now only some points of my story:

    1. They draw money in a lightning speed from your VISA.
    2. They propose you a Pre-Delivery Check for your expensive 'Box Open' 20” laptop for €50 – you take it i order to feel secure.
    3. They send you 15" (worth ~ €300) laptop instead 20" (worth > €1200) – after Pre-Delivery Check !!!
    4. They say you received a new one though it is obvious it is used for ~1year and it is in a replacement box w/o accessories, manuals, etc.
    5. They draw money for that laptop though you never ordered it nor received the invoice
    6. When you request the return they promise it next day but it not happens.
    7. When you ask them why, they say that you DID NOT want a replacement but you wanted to take it...?
    - yet they draw a difference between new 20” new and 'box open' 20” laptop – and instead €96 they take £96!
    - obviously you already have no confidence in their technical service so you do not want a pre-delivery check for the replacement laptop at this time.
    - yet they ignore that request and do not give you money back for it.
    8. Finally the courier takes wrong laptop and you receive the original box of 20” with proper factory sticker on it, assuming that this time is OK...
WRONG are you. The box is not originally sealed... they did a pre-delivery check of the new laptop! But the best is to come....
    9. Inside is the... new... 20”... laptop..... but of much lower spec!!!!!!!! about €250 less.
    - at this point you should collapse dead.
    10. Obviously you call to them and complain, complain... and then you hear a very RUDE voice admonishing you that you just received what you ORDERED?!?!?!?
Happily I used to assembly & sell computers in the past and I know what & where to check the spec. But what with the people that can't see the difference...? How many people are sold wrong computers and they are even not aware of that?
    11. Finally they promise you a call back, that - as you can already expect – never happens.
    12. At that point you are simply exhausted and you spend few days back into life.
    13. After several days you finally receive a confirmation that:
    - your return for 15” one is processed... then ~30min after:
    - you will be payed back for 15” one... then ~30min after:
    - your return for 20” one is processed... then ~30min after:
    - your 15” will be replaced – WHAT? - then you send them quick e-mail and eMessage for correction... then ~30min after:
    - YOUR 20” WILL BE REPLACED – uuugh!
    14. You think, happy The End is pretty close? WRONG are you.
    15. After 2 days the guy is calling!... you can get again 'Box Opened' 20”
You complain and say that you paid for the new one, he says that wasn't new, you say it was (you have all documentation: saved & pdf-ed web pages, invoices, mails, recorded phones, etc.), so he admits it was a new, so you say you want it, he says OK!
    - at this point you are smart and ask his name and personal e-mail, he gives you
    - then you send to him short description of your issue...

and again 3 day of SILENCE...
    16. So you call to them again... – today, as I said i spent ~18min to get them
    17. your queue... You say your order No: and you want to talk with M.M....
    18. You CAN NOT believe...
They say there is not working such guy in all the building and you... hear... women... laughing..........

At that point this is enough!
Whatever could go wrong, it happened wrong. See, about 20 points and there are more, but now I didn't want to be very dull.

    19. You call to them and again they transfer you again several times, as usual...
They try to convince you several times that you wanted a money return, though you've sent them clear info you want your ordered laptop! They insist to say that laptop wasn't new and that is why is gone. But you have all documentation showing that their offer concerned a new one.
    20. You wait several days for their move
    21. After one week you finally received promised money back for the wrong, 15” laptop. Hurray! But you received €492 instead €502 what they drew from your account. Probably this is because they drew and gave back in £ and you have account in €.
But you shouldn't loose – it was their fault!
23 On 9th day you call to them to force them to do something with the major issue – replacing the 20” laptop...
And you hear that they gave you MONEY BACK 2 days ago!!!
THEY SHOULDN'T – for you clearly told, wrote, eMessaged that you want what they should do from the very beginning...

So now, it's obvious that THEY HAVE NEVER HAD THAT LAPTOP – the price was too good!
I suspect they had that lower spec laptop in the higher spec box at the time of releasing the offer on their website. And this repeats pretty often – I have copies of their offers.

In fact, that lower spec laptop costs actually more on their website that that high spec – it was strange but the description of both (beside the spec itself) was exactly the same – no adds like: wear, used, box opened, etc. so you could have right to assume it was a new. Beside of that they've sent me a new but lower spec. So they couldn't deny that their offer concerned a new one.

So I'm writing this review, hoping that it will save some pure guys and girls from having any interaction with that FAKE company.

Anyway, still hoping for happy end...

    Roberto K

    to Ro-Tech
thank you for taking the time to post.
i hate companies that are done with their customers as soon as they get their money. Might i recommend www.newegg.com, they are great.
