hello everyone, im a newbie here and i have a problem.

The 8920 is an awesome laptop but after some research, the 8920 with 2.6ghz and 9650 nvidia graphics card costs 2300 US Dollars while over here in Australia, THe best 8920 u can get is a 2.5 ghz and 9500 nvidia card, which is 3600 Aussie Dollars. LAst time i checked, an australian dollar was worth .95 US dollar. So ive decided to buy the American one which will go to my uncle in the US and then he will send it over to me. (i know there's shipping costs). If i do this, i will save about 1000$. I need advice on whether i should or should not...

    Thanks,
    qaz333

Keep in mind that Australia has one of the highest duties tax. You should check with customs or your local post office and ask how much you would be paying in duties and the paperwork needed before purchasing a laptop from the US and shipping it to Aussie.
