    Hi All,
I'm replacing the HDD on a Acer. It is coming directly from their tech support but theywill not supply any instructions on installing and I do not see any installation instructions on the Acer website. Is there any surprises that I need to be aware about?
Are you aware of any links with instructions?
    Thanks,

No, it's fairly straight forward. Pull out the hard, unscrew the bracket. Screw the bracket onto the new hard drive. Take the HDD adapter off the old one and put it on the new one and put it back in.

Ok. I just received a new HDD in the mail and installed it. I used the HDD format as instructed on Acer's website. That formatted fine. I went to reload the recovery disks and it gave me a memory error message at CD 1. I then tried the post disk formatter but I got an error message sysinfo not found. What is going on? I never had so much trouble installing a OS like this one.
