I checkd www.laptopvideo2go.com for new drivers and in topic about 163.69 driver there is one extremely interesting line:

    ISSUES RESOLVED
The display is corrupt or there is no display upon resume from sleep mode. [296199/326914]
This issue is system and monitor specific, and currently affects only a minority of systems.
System BIOS updates can correct this issue. Please contact your motherboard or system manufacturer for the latest system BIOS.

So it really makes downloading latest driver interesting for everyone.
BTW any idea what do they mean about BIOS updates? no new bioses from Acer anyway.

    cheers

Srry for the fact this topic is almost 3 months old but I agree.
I've been using that site for quite a long time now for my 5920. Although some of the drivers do cause a BSOD once a while, the performance benefit is worth is (crysis went from 20 fps to 40) and I don't experience problems with the display failing after coming from sleep anymore.
    Currently using ForceWare 169.21
