2 issues I want to clarify here about the 4820T :

    a) I was running Adobe Bridge cs5 and converting my RAWs to JPGs - realized that the cpu usage isn't consistent. it fluctuates from 40% to 100% despite me setting the Bridge process to realtime. I tried on my desktop and it actually does work 100% on converting the RAWs. what's wrong here?

    b) is the fan really that noisy? was previously using the aspire 2920z and it was really silent, even when on full load.

oh yes, forgot to mention one important thing :

was on AC power with battery taken out. power settings = high performance.

shouldn't turboboost kick in and stay there till my conversion task completes?
