    is it possible to upgrade the cpu on the 5102 .not sure if the can be done anyone know

    Yes, and it's very easy actually. Just take the bottom panel off, and you will see the cpu right there. A couple more screws and the heatsink comes off. Then just pop out the cpu out of it's socket and put the new one in.

    But be advised that this voids ur warranty.

    so whats the best and fastes cup i could upgrade to and is it a case of taking the old one out and installing the new one and thats it or is there any settings that need to be changed

    No new settings, but you would be advised to upgrade to the latest BIOS.

    The best cpu for it is the tl-66 @ 2.3GHz, but for over $100 less you can get the tl-64 which is a mere 100MHz slower.
