I did a quick google search for 8930/20 and didn't see anything to do with laptops.

You could however try this stylish solution ;).

It's an 8920 officially. Might want to change it to 8920.

I think that the 8920 would officially require a suitcase, not a backpack.

Lol. I don't think 18.4" is meant to be carried around. Why not get a 6920? The specs are real similar, just that the screen isn't 1080.

I use a Targus XL backpack and it fits quite ok. I can stuff a midi controller, sound card, various cable and such in the bag with no problem.

But i brought my laptop to the shop to be sure it did fit before buying it too!

It shouldn't be its only got 128bit architecture. You should really really try and get something like a 9700GT S or better , the difference between 128 and 256 in terms of serious gaming is like night and day.

    Just my 2 cents here...

I seem to have a laptop bag lying around that will fit this monster. It used to carry an old Gateway doorstop, and it's huge. I wish I could tell you all how long ago I bought it, but I know it came from Kensington sometime when Windows 98 was still popular. My mom's HUGE HP whatever-it-is fits just fine when I take the velcro partition out. THe downside is that it's one of those leather psuedo-briefcase things, and the bag itself is BIG and heavy even when empty. I remember it being so big that when I flew with it, I could fit a change of clothes in the bottom compartment. I never thought I'd find a laptop bag for this monster in the ATTIC of all places.

i just returned 8920 because after i tried all the cases i can find here in vancouver, none will fit nicely, some you can still manage, but i am afraid of the tight fit will crack the screen. Targus XXL does fit, but it is XXXXXL in my eyes to carry it around.

I'm using the Targus XL Messenger City Gear. It says it's 17", but the 8920G fits perfectly. Very nice, a little expensive, though.

I really like this bag but can only find it on the net so can't take my 8920 along to test for size. Few Questions :)

Is this the one you're on about http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Targus_XL_City_Gear_Messenger_Notebook_Case_TCG200/version.asp
Will this definitely fit the 8920?
Is it a very tight fit either side?
will it take the PC, power supply and a standard sized mouse

    http://cgi.ebay.ca/17-ALUMINUM-LAPT...39:1|66:2|65:12|240:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Take a look of this, pretty sweet, cool looking yet tough aluminum case; it seems the compartment is somewhat flexible, so you may email/message the seller to confirm whether it will fit.

As far as I know, the width of 8920 is fairly close to a typical 17", but the length is much longer, so maybe removing the divider between the 2 compartments may actually fit the 18.4" perfectly (my completely ungrounded prediction)

Well, i requested 64bit vista, but there was a conflict with bluray. So for compensation, he got me a 18in bag, a mouse, Flash drive, HDMI cable and some other stuff FREE.

And btw, this is an aussie reseller.

Why don't you go on Acer's site, I think I saw some bags there, specially fitted for the 8920/30.
