    it has become pretty hard finding information from users not just reviewers about these models, not sure if they are just undesirable or just no one wants to buy them.

    was wondering if anyone knew ;

    if the red accents on these models are removable (to either repaint or get rid of completely) ?

    how does the keyboard back-light and customization compare to similarly priced laptops, such as AW or MSI?

    and is there any way to replace the chiclet style keycaps Acer put on these models? mostly do not like the red accented keycaps

    1 - No, you'd have to scrape off the paint and ruin the exterior - that voids warranty
    2 - No idea, probably similar
    3 - No, only Acer'designed chicklets work due to the way the hinges are designed. Other keycaps would not work at all.

    If you live near a MicroCenter they have them going for $1399.
    It looks better in person than it does in pictures and the red accents cannot be removed, maybe you can paint over them .
    The keyboard is excellent and can be customized in 3 zones with whatever color your heart desires.
    Again I thought that I wouldnt like the red outlined keys but its not that bad, they have them on some ASUS laptops that looks much, much worse. They dont bother me at all and the more I use this laptop the more impressed I am with the overall build quality.
    I will admit I would never pay full retail price for this laptop but I am very satisfied with how cool and quiet it runs, very glad I gave them a look.
