    i have acer aspire 5920 notebook.i can formate my system & reinstall vista home premium.now i cant able 2 view webcam short cut in desktop & windows explorer.
    if i go to yahoo messenger,choose my webcam option,its workd fine.but there is no short cut on my desktop & windows explorer.
    i can try start-program-acer crystal clear webcam.but there is no webcam option,i can view only uninstall webcam option
    how can i get back my web cam short cut in desktop & windows explorer?
    plz guide me step by step

    If the webcam is a crystal eye, there will not be a shortcut to it. It will only work with an application ie. msn/yahoo. There is nothing wrong with the cam. If you go into your device manager you will see that the device is functioning properly. JoeB
