    hello everyone,

im currently enjoying my acer 4520 , dual boot vista/xp ( allthough i havent worked the sound out in xp )

has anyone used any type of recording software with this model?
i have tried cakewalk ( 06 ) and sonar 4 , with no luck in any mode ( wdm ,asio , ect..)

i want to use the on board audio , but the software i use doesnt "see" my audio the right way

i have tried the guitar rig 3 demo with no luck - -i even tried a program called asio for all ( i guess some adapter program ?) with guitar rig , cakewalk, so nar-nothing

is there any software avalible that works with no issues ?
i dont need "pro audio " just something i can plug a guitar into , maybe a midi instrument , no more than 16 tracks , maybe a few effects ?
    idunno

    thanx
