I have an acer aspire 5920g that had a nVidia 8600M GT 512Mb and this card died. I had bought from ebay a nVidia 9650M GT 1Gb and I put it on the laptop. :thumbsup:
My problem is that the system recognize the card as a typical adapter.![]()
I downloaded the nVidia drivers but in the check for compatible hardware stops telling me that no compatible hardware found.![]()
I flash the bios with 5920G_MXM_V3 but the problem is remain. The only drivers that working is ver.259.47
Why is this happening and how can I install the newer version drivers?![]()

I try that but the problem remand.
I think is vbios of my cart.
I have the " 62.94.39.00.00 " and I am looking for another version but not find. -

Try applying the PCI-Express x16 fix to your vbios with NiBiTor.
