after successfully down/UPgrading to XP on my Aspire 5315 and doing numerous upgrades including a Core2Duo CPU, the only thing i have left to complain about with reguards to my $350 laptop is the fact that my LCD is showing up in the device manager as a "Plug and Play Monitor". i know that all i need is the driver/inf file. if anyone has easy access to this driver file please PM me or post a link in this thread.. it's worth a rep point or 2 :D....

Unless you have some weird specialized monitor, it should be PnP.

And you only have 1 rep power.

maybe if i'd have gotten that rep point promissed for posting the WPRIME results as stated in the post about users showing the world what us notebook users can do,, then i might have had a 2 or 3 rep points... but that's neither here nor there........

    thanks for your excellent advice
