hy guys.... im still newbie for laptop overclocking... so i need complete guide or instruction to overclock my acer aspire 4743zg so i can play world in conflict in high setting.. i already test world in conflict benchmark which i only get average 25 fps on medium setting which still laggy for me.. even in starcraft2 i also get average 20-25 fps in medium setting.. hope anyone can guide me to overclock my laptop..here is my spec : intel pentium p6200 2.13 ghz/ 2gb ram / nvidia gt520m / 320 hdd... cpu temp (no aircondition) : 40-47c (idle), 50-60c (gaming).. gpu temp (no aircondition) 42-47c (idle) 50-62c (gaming) btw outside temp around 35-38c ..sorry for my english.. im not good in english....![]()

Not too sure if overclocking will solve your situation. Unfortunately your processor seems to be the bottleneck for the two games you want to play. Starcraft can be a very CPU demanding game as well as a GPU one. Your GPU is also an entry level GPU that can't handle many current games in medium-high settings. If you still want to try you can download a program called Riva Tuner and fool around with that to change clock speeds of your GPU. It should help but I would personally give up hope running those games fluently on that machine.

Thanks, anyway what are the safest overclocking cpu and gpu software for newbie like me rivatuner, msi afterburner, nvidia inspector or any? I know there is a lot overclocking tutorial on youtube,,, what are the max safe temp for overclocking cpu and gpu?

ask nX3NTY I don't remember how to overclock CPU, but for GPU you can overclock using evga precision and highest according to nX3NTY is 925mhz core and mem 960mhz and he overclock CPU P6200 2.13GHz to 2.55GHz
