Hello, I have a acer aspire d260 netbook and a cousin of mine put a bios password on it and cannot acces bios, but can load windows 7 starter that is installed on it. Want to remove the pass so I can install a real system like a linux, not Billy's crap that moves like a fat cow :(.

I saw something with some wires on his mainboard but looks dangerous. I am thinking of a software or something. Acer Empiring Technology is not compatible with Win 7. keep in mind that it does not have a rom, and cannot bot from usb.

    Any hope for me?

    Thanks!
