after I installed the hacked nVidia driver it seems to have killed my webcam. whenever I try to use it in MSN or Skype, the software locks up TIGHT and I have to go into the Task Manager to kill. didn't bother me at first, but I'm wanting to use it again (2 months later about LOL!) and trying to figure out the solution.

so far I uninstalled the two crystal webcam drivers and reinstalled with the latest and greatest. both the Bison and the SUYIN, without success. thoughts or suggestions?

check to make sure the webcam is not set to run at start-up in msconfig.

if it is, then uncheck the box and restart

    sounds like a software conflict
