    Hi there

    fistly i have spent a few days lookin at the forums ti find a solution with not realy much luck at all.

    so here is my problem...
    2 weeks ago i found this forum for the los of keyboard an mouse bad problem with a dead battery kill the batt an all is good many thanx for that one but this is a contrebution to current prob as yu will see :).
    last week i was udating all my comps driers bios ect. i always do this once ever 4 months :).
    while doing the Aspire 3000 we had a major power cut for an hour **ahhhh e** can be heard in my room right in the middle of the bios update e on a stick i think this normaly means rather costly paper whieght.
    came back to these forums to find a solution iff one exsisted and found this thred....

    i thought Yess this may work however it has not worked here is what i have done...

    I made the disk as was sujested but the thred starter said even made the second CD sujested by another guide poster in the thred..

    when i follow the instructions posted my power light and green network lights flash iff i plugg in hilding the Fn+Esc keys ...

    When i plugg the laptop in the power light and the fan both start up that is the only life i see in my laptop atm .......

    has any one got a solution i could try i realy need to get the laptop working agen iff at all poss......

    i forgotto mention the CD rom dose not spin up at all nore open when the laptop powers on....

    plug in usb with a led ,, boot up look if its lights up 2x or long.
    if you dont get any led = dead

    plugg in a usb flash drive plugg in the laptop

    1. starts with lights flashing the power green network light an the usb led all jus flash

    2. power light comes on as dose the fan nothing els happens

    these are the 2 situations of power on for my laptop atm

    make a bootble dos usb stick with autoecex.bat to auto flash ( remove harddisk ) command --> phlash /s /x bios.wph , WAIT 3 MIN te be sure .
