I have an acer1642. I have windows xp and roadrunner. I can get to the internet on some pages and then when I try to get to a specific site on that website I can't because the screen just flashes but never moves. I also can't get to my email because it shows that page like when you dont have internet service but I can get to every other website. I had norton and system suite 8. I tried to erase them thinking that was the problem but I cant seem to ersae everything because of a button I cant click on.

While Norton may well be the cause of your problem and Revo the solution, your situation sounds exactly like my own which is a browser issue. FF hasn't been working properly for me for a while now, especially with OSX while trying to check email; it behaves exactly as you've described. I've switched to Opera for the most part, and the problem has disappeared.

Just for the record, FF has been my favorite browser for a long time, so I'm not trying to cause flames here.
