    need urgent help

    hi

    i bought acer aspire 4310 with xp. then i installed it with windows seven ultimte. if i press the bluetooth button its not on, and after install the application its showing bleutooth device is not found....

    what should i do?

    Are the BT drivers and Launch Manager installed?

    cannot install the bluetooth driver coz its says the device is not found. launch manager installed

    i think when i was installing the bluetooth drivers.. i had to press the bluetooth button for it to say enabled or on or whatever and then i installed the drivers so it detected the bluetooth or something along those lines .. very hazy to me now.

    But even now i dont see any bluetooth devices (it works fine) i thought that was because i have no bluetooth keyboard or mouse attached

    where did you get the drivers from and are you sure you got the right one

    Im on w7 as well.. all that does is remove your drivers because youre starting fresh. you just need to DL it again.. which driver are you using

    Which windows 7 did you install? (professional? ultimate? and 32 bit or 64)

    im using it from acer website. vista driver to windows seven.... u have other link?

    thanks for now. i will update after i did it

    still telling that No bluetooth device is detected. and one more thing the light on the button was not on although i try to on the thing...... so what to do now..?

    can u give me full link to download all the driver...plz?

    windows 7 support is not provided for your laptop so you cant actually get windows 7 drivers from acer themselves. I got the broadcom bluetooth windows 7 drivers from the acer aspire 6935g page.

    You can find drivers from acer.com

    What does it say when you press the button

    when i press the button its not telling anything even the light is not on. when i try to install the driver then it asking me to turned the bluetooth on. !!!

    any idea my friend?

    it have the button beside the keyboard and i checked specification it tells the laptop has bluetooth. : Smart answer

    Everybody has the button- that doesn't mean anything.
    As for specs- if you checked at Acer website is 4310 has BT it still doesn't mean that your 4310 has BT. It means some of 4310s have it if you choose to but one with it.
    Check on the box that laptop came in and check the exact model number i.e. if you have Acer Aspire 4310- 400508Mi check this number, not the general 4310.
