    newbie computer dolt needs direction...Acer1 ?

    I just got an acer 1 aspire.

    How what do I need to get or do so that I can on the new in my car, etc--in otherwords, so that I can take this thing around and get on the net about whereever I am. For example, look up stuff and use the net while waiting in my car or sitting in a restaurant?

    secondly, I can't find anywhere to put a disk into it although some came in the box. If I wanted to use cds or watch movies, what do I need to get?

    yes, this post is for real, i just don't know anything about computers, don't know computer talk, but am willing to learn and really need help.

    PS are there any small portable quality printers that anyone would think would work good with this machine?

    you need to get an external dvd drive to use cd's/dvd's

    also, if you want internet anywhere, you need to get a cellular wireless USB key, and a data plan from a provider
