okay, i was tryn to fix my Acer MBR. But before i could do that i had to fix my "Ntdlr is missing" which i did with "windows vista recovery.iso" repaired the problem and everything loaded up. Now i was after the PQservice partition to reset my MBR, so i proceeded to get Pedit32, found the partition, changed the type to 07, once i did that, i restarted. went to Disk Management and PQservice partition was unhidden. My problems started when i went to "activate" the partition, so i could browse thru it to find the files that i needed. I set it as "active." Went to where my drives are and could not find a "PQService drive" so i fiqured id restart, maybe so the changes could take affect. Restarted, and now i run into this problem....

I change my BIOS to boot from drive and i get NTLDR is missing, which didnt happen before i activated the PQService Partition

ok so then i change my BIOS to boot from cd with the recovery vista.iso
in, i get the "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD...." and it comes to the Install Windows screen, with the language select, time and currency format, etc. I go to repair Computer. i get...
"Windows found problems with your computers startup options, do you want to apply and restart" yes of course i do, i go to repair and restart i change to BIOS back to my HD and i still get the NTLDR is missing, i tried this both with D2D recovery enabled and disabled.

now with the repair tool, it gives me a few options:
    Startup Repair
    System Restore
    Windows Complete Restore
    Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool
    Command Prompt
now i tried System Restore, where there is a restore point before my ntdlr and pqservice was messed with, i restore, restart, but still get a "ntdlr is missing."
only thiing i can think of is to use the command prompt, which i have no clue on where to begin, any help would be appreciated, thanks.
