Hi,
Just some time ago, all of a sudden randomly, my laptop screen turned off and then displayed a BSOD acer 6920g nvlddmkm.sys.
I'm using Nvidia Driver Version 8.16.11.8681 and my graphics card is 9500M GS 512 MB.
I have never had this issue before. However, i am aware that some nvidia drivers aren't friendly on the 6920g laptop (like the brightness issue), should I try updating to the latest driver 258.49 on laptopvideotogo?
Thanks,

Hi,
instead of the modified drivers, I'd try one from Nvidia's official notebook drivers.
NVIDIA DRIVERS 257.21 WHQL
Perhaps a slightly older version is better:
NVIDIA DRIVERS 197.16 WHQL
NVIDIA DRIVERS 195.62 WHQL
Or use the drivers offered by Windows Update (these are original Nvidia drivers, no worry)
