i came home after leaving my PC running for maybe 2 hrs,, and soon noticed a GREEN pixel almost in the middel of my screen

needless to say... i was very tweeked,,, but then i recalled a thread i read in the HARDEWARE & UPGRADE forum... and after about 3 seconds of lightly massaging the area aroung the stuck pixel,, it came back to life

should i be concerned about this,, and is this often a sign of more nad pixels to come or just statisics at work??

    please reply with your experiences

    http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-a-Stuck-Pixel-on-an-LCD-Monitor

Look there, be carefull, my compaq has one blue one stuck, tried
everything and it didn't help. I was carefull and didn't
scratch the screen or cause any other pixel problems.

Been three years, never got worse or better.

Did have to fix a broken wire in LCD cable, wow them are small wires !

I was about to post a similar link to solve Lcd dead pixels, but jc55´s is pretty complete.

As far as I know, one dead pixel does not mean others start dying too, so if you can´t solve it, don´t go mad about it (but I totally understand you if you do).

Kind regards and good luck fixing it!!!

You´re right, I´ve read it well but forgot it while writing the message (5 minutes searching for my link, that´s how long my brain´s RAM last :p).

    Glad to hear that!!! :)

For what I´ve read there´s no need to worry about "new" dead pixels, is more probable that the one which is "reborned" would die again.

    Regards!!!
