i have the acer 1810T since July 2009 and very happy with it
but if in the beginning the battery lasted 7-8 hours for standard working stuff (word/excel and bit surfing) and 4-5 hours video.

now 100% battery only gives me 5 hours tops of word/excel even less.

i didn't use the laptop everyday, aprox 2-3 times a week and i only charged it when the battery was nearly empty.

any idea what causing the poor battery now?

can it be any of the new bios/drivers (only used stuff from acer official site)?

    any ideas will be helpful.
