    i have acer aspire 5738G witho windows windows vista i upgrade OS to windows 7 and every think ok but my problem with acer powr smart manager didnot work when i press the button not work and lamp not light and not work and open launch manager and i select power smart manager.exe but no change ... i have acer upgrade kit and i try install drivers and app but no change
    plase help me

    I have the same problem, except I have no power smart manager after I installed windows 7 ultimate from windows 7 home...I can't find the empowering technology software anywhere for the 1810z (my model)..le sigh

    I have exactly the same problem. Installing eFramework 3.0 didn't seem to help, has ANYONE got the powersmart button to work after upgrading the OS?

    I'm sorry I do not speak English. The problem of PowerSmart Manager is the BIOS version. I managed to make the application work changing the BIOS to version 1.13. But it has to be done with caution.
