    sometimes a press the button but it wont open even light dont come on seems to have been like this since the bios update

    The BIOS doesn't control how the CD tray opens, there is a little spring in there and when you press the button it just causes the tray to spring out. I know from past experiences that sometimes if you don't hit the button hard enough or "just right" the tray sometimes doesn't spring open. This has happened to me sometimes on various notebooks along the way (dell, HP, gateway etc).
