    problem with acer crystal eye webcam - 8940G

    i use skype and acer crystal eye webcam and i found that my camera not working.i disable and than enable and was working but after laptop restart not working again.
    i unnistall and install and camera is working but again stop working after laptop restart.anyone know what is the problem?

    lol wow, seems that acer crystal eyes are pure garbage. I have an old aspire 4530 from about 3 years and it has that same problem, ever since I bought it. Unable to use the webcam.

    No I have the same laptop and I had solved it.
    Google for the solution
    It has to do with the hinge and the webcam cables.

    i reinstall and working ,restart machine and stop working
    I don't close lid during restart

    Wrong Driver. You should use the Bison Drivers instead of the SuYin.

    I mean you should install the Bison AP Drivers package instead of the SuYin ones.
    Sorry that is the fix for the acer aspire 4530 laptop not the 8940G
    You might want to try adjusting the cable to allow some cable length for hinging.
    Or you might want to try other SuYin Drivers.

    i delete crystal eye software.i download same soft but now I don't have 720 option in screen size.where to download original crystal eye?

    like I say when I unistall and install it's working till next restart
