    after i upgraded to vista i had problem with my dvd drive, it doesnt detect the dvd's and there is a red sign over the dvd drive, i do not know what to do, can any one help me with this, thanks...

    Is it possible that your drive got disabled in the device manager? That or you may need to update the driver (if there are drivers for drives).

    i tried this i went to the device manager and updated my drivers, it says that i am using the latest drivers, and also i cannot hook on any external hard disk or usb's , they also come with a similar sign as i posted before and say that the disk is not acessible, any one had similar problems....?
