    problem with new devices on USB

    I have a Aspire one for over 4 month, and i had reintall to Manufactory settings abou 20 times because after installing some software i can not use the USB port for a new devices, It ask for a CD to install the drives, i will not find the on the Windows library. Does anybody had any aides about how to solve this problem.

    I'm running windows xp, no hardware changes.

    any ideas will be appreciated.
