    i noticed there was a significant slow down on my system
    i tried to do a reformat but it failed saying my drive is corrupted
    scandisk doesn't work, it only stay at 0%

    just wanted to know whats wrong with it, so i can get it fixed
    i am hoping it'll be the harddrive

    install hard disk is easy make sure you get sata laptop hard disk

    they cover at bottom it corner 2 scews
    remove the cover they be one scew at end hold bracket in lift it out

    remove old hard disk from ide bracket they be most like 4 screws on side holding it and lift out slide new hard disk into bracket put one screw back in at top of hard disk end close to side of case put cover and 2 screws

    reinstall from you recover disk

    that asume you made a set

    thanks andyasselin! i checked and it says there is an error on the drive
    now i definitely know it is the harddrive

    will Western Digital 160G - 5400rpm SATA Notebook Hard Drive - WD1600BEVS (OEM) be good enough?

    See if you can get a faster RPM than that, it'll speed everything up.
