Aren't brackets usually screwed on?

First thanks for your reply!
The graphic card have 4 holes where x-bracket should be fixed, but the x-bracket isn't there. I would like to fix old x-bracket with glue, but I don't know which glue is need. The old video card had x-bracked glued on.
Thanks -
If you just glue the bracket onto the back of the card I don't think it's going to provide the proper support. Usually the x-bracket is on the back screwed to the heatsink with the graphics core sandwiched in the middle. What is the heatsink going to be attached to? Could you please provide some photos?

The x-bracket is glued on the video card and x-bracket have four holes and is screwed to the heatsink .In photo 1 there is the new video card without x-bracket, in photo 2 old card with x-bracket. In photo 3 the space between card and x-bracket is filled with glue. In new card there isn't x-bracket(like photo 1) and I would like to glue the old x-bracket(like original old video card-FIG.2)on new video card, but I don't know which glue to use.
