i've been trying to figure out the answer to this for a while.. basically, i want to sell my comp and want to use dban to wipe my drive clean. i used erecovery to make the factory default discs (it was 4 of them).

i know dban will clear all partitions, so after i wipe everything from the hdd, will i be able to just put in the first recovery disc and it will start installing windows again? not sure if it will give me some error or something since the whole hdd will be wiped clean

    i have acer aspire 5742, 64 bit, windows 7
