I have an Acer Aspire 5930G and I'm simply wondering what acer programs are worth still having on the computer (or any programs that came with the computer for that matter e.g. NTI backup now 5) =)

I don't use any either, i find everything the empowering technology does, can be done within windows, and the programs like nti cd and dvd maker, i find there are better programs out there.

I also remove the trial of anti virus and download one of the free alternatives (avira etc).

If it's a new system, make some backup discs beofre removing anything, just incase something goes wrong.
