    I noticed there are a bunch of crap games and stuff on my notebook, anyway to remove them without formatting? this is all the junk acer adds...

    i did this once to my hp and had to format

    LOL! This is very common for Acer to include their mini-games into their products.
    The games were made for "Universal" play.
    The games were not very easy to master/win/dominate.
    However, you would find yourself playing children games or retarded games.
    Just uninstall them. Formatting is not needed at all.

    ok...so anything I don't want I can just uninstall? Like I said, I uninstalled some bloat from my HP notebook a couple of years ago and it screwed up the OS.....

    You didn't mention it on this thread. How should I know the problems you encounter.
    Have you try CCleaner? D/L and guide, www.ccleaner.com
    Maybe it can help. CCleaner is responsible to fix registry errors to make your system stable.
